About Bagasse Hinged Containers
Bagasse is the fiber left after sugarcane is pressed, molded into a sturdy natural-beige clamshell that handles hot, saucy and greasy food without going soft. It is microwave safe and compostable in commercial composting facilities, which makes it the easiest eco upgrade for burger, sandwich and plate-lunch takeout.
Choose 6" × 6" for sandwiches and sides, 9" × 6" for wraps and hoagies, and 8" × 8" or 9" × 9" for full meals — the 3-compartment versions keep entrées and sides apart. Cases hold 200 to 500 clamshells depending on size, with 36 to 45 cases per pallet.
